Character Arcs

Okay, so I've been reading stuff all over the place about what people want for characters and their wishlist beyond the arsine desire for certain character appearances (No seriously like lack of blond hair is an issue? Like it's the blond hair that gave him the powers? Just...just no). I have my own desires, some of which seem reasonable, others are more like fantasies that I know aren't going to happen (or not happen). Still I'm curious about what others want to see happen to these characters.
My List:
Barry Allen: This is actually pretty standard, but oddly enough I want him to kinda lose at the end of the season. Like he wins the big battle, succeeds, but at a cost. So the city rejoices, while Barry is kinda down. I know I'm weird, but bittersweet victories are interesting to me right now. In a way, I want him to understand the hero sacrifice concept. He saw it with Oliver and Felicity, but he might need to experience that loss in a different way. How? I don't know.
Caitlin Snow: No Killer Frost. I want her to struggle more with trying to be Barry's more common sense friend than going down a dark path. Also with the death of her fiancée, she needs to do than have a romantic relationship and/or go down a dark path. It's clear from Arrow that she feels some responsibility for her loves's death, but also blames Wells and STAR. She seems to feel a lot of guilt and repressed anger. She needs to help Barry because she wants to set things right and ease some of the guilt. That way in season 2, it will make her fall from grace all the more painful and accumulate in the creation of Killer Frost by the end of season 2. (I'm a super hopeful bunny so sue me.)
Clyde Mardon: Yeah no you're done. You're basically set for evildom. Well, maybe.
Cisco Ramon: I love this silly dude already. Making his own cool and ruling the school...or something? I desire a bit of levity from him by season's end. Not enough to truly dampen his apparent bright character, his seemingly positive outlook on things and perhaps a growing love of gizmos should remain staple of the character beyond my hopeful season 2...we'll see. (Also Brooklyn Represent! Woot)
Captain David Singh: I oddly enough have a shipping request...Please keep him as he is in the comics. Maybe not in the closet, but...please.
Eddie Thawne: Dude, don't go evil this season! In fact end the season on a high note...you can start your crash and burn next season, maybe?
Harrison Wells: Don't do evil Professor X (san metahuman mind reading abilities). In fact, I kinda doubt he will take that path. He just seems like a pessimist who paints themselves as a realist. I want him to struggle to believe in something beyond scientific theories. I mean, the dude's company is losing support, most people strongly dislike him for P.A Explosion and now with all the weird/scary stuff going on (the murders, disappearances, and unexplained incidents) I want to feel that impact on him without the need for him to go all "Blah I'm evil cause I ain't got working legs and my life sucks" excuse.
Iris West: Oh my Lady Iris. Seriously, I loved Iris the moment I saw her and I want only the best! Which means no interest in any guys for a while and maybe give her some other friends. I want her to focus on setting people on the right path, at least mentally. I also want her to serve as the inspiration for why Barry/the Flash tries to talk to his villains first. She should be the one to find the drive behind their actions to aid Flash indirectly with becoming more personable with his future rogues. I also want friendship moments, like them meeting up and just hanging out...like a movie night where Iris invites others over and maybe calls in Felicity and they all watch a movie cause that'd be so uber cute!
Detective (Joe) West: Dude, I watched so much Law and Order thanks to my Dad growing up, I feel like he is my local officer. I've even seen him shooting scenes for the show since my Dad worked where they usually filmed. I've said hi to him from a far. The dude being in this make me infinitely more excited. As for the Detective, I'm not sure what I want for him. It depends in part on how Iris's and Barry's arc goes. Though I do want to know more about the West family, like what happened to Iris's mother...maybe hints of her siblings. I don't expect to see them this season if the show follows some of the comic.
As for Shipp's character, Barry's Dad...I don't know. Personally this is just me rambling about character desires. I hope we hear hints of Wally through out the season, the rest of the West family. Maybe hear something about another Flash from time long past...you know whom I'm referring to. It's clear that there will be other cast members to come and it's possible we will lose a few. According IMDb there are a few other additional characters that will appear in the pilot, but whether they last or not is another matter. In the end, these are my thoughts alone and whether you think I'm right or wrong or you don't care. I want to hear what you think.
What do you guys think? What do you all want for the characters? what arcs and threads from the comic book or other sources do you see influencing the story arc for these characters?
