I see we will get one of the Rogues relatively early. Pretty awesome trailer. It looks like we will be getting particle freaks (similar to Smallville's Meteor Freaks) for Barry to contend with. I look forward to more.

Anyone else notice the Gambi Cleaning truck Barry runs into? Paul Gambi was the character in the comics who made the costumes for the Rogues.
Also, Ferris Air is where Barry tests out his proto-suit. That's where Hal Jordan (Green Lantern) and Carol Ferris (Star Sapphire) work.

Forget any previous concerns I had about this series (and I had a lot), this trailer got me super hyped and I can't wait for it.
Just a small note - I hope the Arrow's appearance is a one time thing and this series doesn't get to live glued on Arrow and it's characters forever, because that would suck.

I'm not familiar with the comics, i do some google research though But it seems they're are really careful with the details and staying true to the comics as much as possible. Dropping hints here and there. It's great ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I'm mean, with the Arrow team and Geoff Johns himself working on the show, it's to be expected ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

There may be a crossover once a year or so, but considering that both shows will run for about 20-23 episodes per season I doubt they'll have time to do crossovers every week or anything. This is more just to show that Barry has Oliver's blessing/approval to be a superhero.

The more i look at it, the more it looks like a trailer for a movie. I get Spiderman vibes from it ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) I can't imagine what is the budget for this show!!! It does look very expensive! ![8D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/insane.png)

Some of the dialogue seems a bit cheesy, but that's forgivable. I still hate the dead mother angle, but it looks like everything else about this series is going to be great.

I LOVE THIS I LOVE THIS I LOVE THIS I LOVE THIS I LOVE THIS I LOVE THIS I LOVE THIS I LOVE THIS.
Please, this is not spam! I just loved this trailer! Just a question. Why is this a pilot? It feels like a trailer for the best movie ever? Ugh, when I watch this show, I'm gonna curse at the TV when a commercial comes on. And when my Blu-Ray gets scratched in the future, I'm gonna curse at the Play Station X.
This trailer made me heck of excited! That is Barry Allen. That is Grant Gustin.
I loved Arrow in the trailer. He seems much happier! Season 2 of Arrow was a happy ending.
Sorry for my loud and repetitive sentences, but I just love the CW's Flash!!!

I was excited before...now I'm edging toward twitching levels of excitement. I've had to rewatch the extended trailer several times to try and get everything. I love the cast, the work, everything! I especially love that he reached out to Oliver. It make sense since there is trouble in his city and believes he can't stop this bad guy, so naturally he reaches out to the only hero he knows...the Arrow. Or maybe just get some advice. Still I don't want him running to him too often.

Well, the dialogue in Arrow is cheesy at times as well. But these are superhero shows so I think that's to be expected a bit. The dead mother stuff isn't the way I would have went with it (I much prefer Barry's Silver Age origin) but I think it was added in to get people excited for a possible appearance by the Reverse-Flash.

Another thing I've noticed: the magazine Barry is carrying at one point to keep the rain off his head is called "Science Showcase".
Barry's first comic book appearance was in Showcase #4 (in 1956).
